William Ewart Gladstone

William Ewart Gladstone was a British Liberal politician in UK. In his career enduring over 60 years, he was elected as Prime Minister for four times i.e, 1868–74, 1880–85, February–July 1886 and 1892–94, more than any other politician. He was resigned as prime minister last time at the age of 84. In 1859 ,the Peelites combine with the Whigs party and the Radicals party to form the Liberal Party.

William Ewart Gladstone was born on 1809 December 29th at place of Liverpool, Lancashire, England. He was died on 1898 May 19th (at age of 88) at Hawarden Castle, Flintshire, Wales. His father was Sir John Gladstone and mother was Anne MacKenzie Robertson. Gladstone was forth son to Sir John Gladstone and Anne MacKenzie Robertson was second wife to Sir John Gladstone. William Gladstone was studied from 1816 to 1821 at a preparatory school at the vicarage of St Thomas’s Church at Seaforth, which was near to his home. He read Classics and Mathematics at Christ Church, Oxford in 1828, although he had not much interested in mathematics. In December 1831 he got the double first-class degree. Gladstone elected as President of the Oxford Union debating society.

Gladstone was married Catherine Glynne, they gave birth to eight children together. In December 1834, he was selected as a Junior Lord of the Treasury in Sir Robert Peel’s first ministry. He shaped his unique mark from the start and support junior offices in Robert Peel’s government of 1834 – 1835. Although he was interested in liberalism and slowly moving towards to liberalism. In 1843 Gladstone entered Peel’s Conservative cabinet. In September 1842, his left hand forefinger  was cut in an accident while reloading a gun. From that incident he wore a glove or finger sheath.

The Full name of Princess Diana is Diana Frances Spencer. She was well know as a British queen after marrying Prince Charles (Price of Wales). Princess Diana was an active fund raiser, Princess of Wales, president of charity work authorities and a celebrity. She was one of the most loved and respected members of the British royal family.

Princess Diana Early Life

Diana was born on 1 July 1961 into an aristocratic British family, though a commoner and royal. She was born in Park House, Sandringham, Norfolk to John Edward Spencer (8th Earl Spencer) and Lady Frances Spencer (Or Frances Shand Kydd). She was the fourth child of five children in her family. Diana was baptized at St. Mary Magdalene Church, Sandringham. She had three siblings: Sarah, Jane and Charles.

Diana Education and Career

Till age 7 she was educated at home. In 1968, Diana was joined in Riddlesworth Hall School which was an all-girls boarding school between the age of 7 to 12. Then moved to west heath girls school which is in Kent between 12 to 16 age and left the school. After this she joined in Institut Alpin Videmanette, which was in Rougemont, Switzerland.

At the age of 17, Diana started her first job as nanny for Alexandra, the daughter of Major Jeremy Whitaker and his wife Philippa.

Diana Married Life and Family Life

She got engagement officially with Price Charles on 24th February 1981 and they got married on July 29th, 1981. She gave her first birth to William Arthur Philip Louis on June 21st, 1982 and 2 years later gave birth to a boy named Henry on September 15th, 1984. She was a good mother, wife and princess.

In 1996, after knowing the Charles’ long affair with Camilla Parker Bowles, they together agreed to take divorce. The divorce settlement terms between Charles and Diana was $23 million and $600,000 per year as tenure.

Princess Diana Death & Legacy

The car in which Diana was traveling met with an accident on 31st August 1997 at Pont de l’Alma road tunnel in Paris. She was buried at Althorp, Northamptonshire on 6th September 1997.

Christopher Marlowe Biography

Christopher Marlowe was the play wright, poet, British dramatist and as well as translator of the Elizabethan era. He was most influenced by William Shakespeare who was great British poet. Shakespeare was also born in the same year as Marlowe and who came from lower position to higher position to become the best Elizabethan playwright after Marlowe’s mysterious death.

Christopher Marlowe born date was not known, but baptised on 26th February 1564 at Canterbury, England and died on 30th May 1593 (at the age 29) at Deptford, England. Marlowe parents, father was John Marlowe who was shoemaker and mother was Catherine.

Marlowe was jointed in The King’s School which is in Canterbury and Corpus Christi College, Cambridge. He was educated with scholarship and got his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1584. In the year of 1587, university hold his masters degree in granting because of frequently absence to university and converted to Roman Catholicism. At this situation Privy Council sent a declaration notice to university has he was now working “on matters touching the benefit of his country,” then he got his master’s degree from university on same schedule.

Christopher Marlowe Literary Career

Marlowe first drama was Dido, Queen of Carthage. This drama was performed by Children of the Chapel which was a company of boys actors. This drama was performed in between 1587 and 1593. Marlowe’s second drama and performance was the two-part Tamburlaine the Great (which was published in 1590). Marlowe Arrest and Death

The continues gossips of Christopher Marlowe’s unbelief finally arrested for just that crime on Sunday May 20th, 1593. Finally on May 30th 1593, Marlowe was murdered by Ingram Frizer. Frizer was took help of Nicholas Skeres and Robert Poley, then killed Marlowe. But Marlowe death was still mysterious.

Mary I was queen of England and Ireland from July 1553 to until her death. She was born on 18 February 1516 at palace of Placentia in Greenwich and died on 17 November 1558 at age of 42 in St James’s Palace in London. She was burial at Westminster Abbey, London. Her order on protestants make rivals to give her the name as “Bloody Mary”.

Mary I parents are, father is Henry VIII of England and mother is Catherine of Aragon. She was the only child of Henry VIII and Catherine of Aragon. In year of 1554, Mary married Philip of Spain and became the queen consort of Habsburg Spain on his attainment in 1556. Mary dethroned Jane successfully, who was ultimately beheaded with her force in East Anglia.

Mary I studied French, Spanish, Greek and learned music, dance at her age of 9 years old. Both Mary I and Philip were come down from legitimate children of John of Gaunt, 1st Duke of Lancaster, by Philip first two wives, a relationship which was used to represent Philip as an English king.
