William Shakespeare Biography

William Shakespeare was a great British english poet, playwright and actor. He was the world top dramatist till now. Shakespeare had the names as National Poet and Band of Avon. He wrote 154 sonnets, 2 long narrative poems and some collaborations that includes 38 plays. Shakespeare plays and dramas were translated in to so many languages and performed on regular base. Shakespeare wrote most of the plays that includes human emotion and conflict.

William Shakespeare Early Life

As per the records William Shakespeare exact date of birth is not exist. But believed Shakespeare was born on or near April 23rd, 1564 and died on 23rd April 1616 in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, England. William Shakespeare father was John Shakespeare and mother was Mary Shakespeare. He was baptised in Holy Trinity Church in Stratford-upon-Avon on 26th April 1564.

William Shakespeare Education

Shakespeare education records are not existed exactly. Scholars have doubts that he was studied in the King’s New School, in Stratford, which teach reading, writing and the classics. In childhood, Shakespeare was not qualified for free education.

William Shakespeare Married Life

William Shakespeare got married at the age of 18 years with Anne Hathaway. Anne age was 26 years at the marriage time. The marriage licence was issued by consistory court of the Diocese of Worcester on 27th November 1582. They had together 3 child, first was baby named as Susanna born on May 26th, 1583 and after two years later born twins called Hamnet and Judith on February 2nd, 1585. But Hamnet was died of unknown cause at the age of 11.

William Shakespeare Theatrical Career

There is no exact records when Shakespeare was started theatrical career. Roughly he was started career in 1592. As per London playwright Robert Greene, there is an upstart Crow.

In between 1593 and 1594, Shakespeare’s first poem’s are Venus and Adonis and ‘The Rape of Lucrece’, were published. He was dedicated them to his sponsor, Henry Wriothesley, the Earl of Southampton.

William Shakespeare Final Years

Shakespeare lived last five years of his final life in New Place in Stratford. He was died on 23rd April 1616 at the age of 52 years old and he was buried in Holy Trinity Church in Stratford. He gave his total property to his eldest daughter Susanna male heirs.
